A verse sent to a young person said to have married. Playing on otokoeshi (the "male flower," white patrinia) and ominaeshi (the "female flower," golden patrinia), the two autumn blooms that stand side by side in the fields, he wishes the couple a life of blooming happily together. The doubled "beshi" gives the wordplay a warm, well-wishing lilt.
