leaves falling — deep within i behold the buddha

Deep within the ceaseless fall of leaves, he beholds the figure of the Buddha. It can be read as a temple image in the inner hall, or as something glimpsed deep among the leaves themselves. The unrelenting fall of leaves makes of itself a time like the chanting of sutras.
