Santōka Alarm
日本語EN

My Gochū-an as well.

the wall crumbles and out of it a vine

kabe ga kuzurete soko kara tsurukusa

1939–1940 · Matsuyama, Issō-an hermitage
Sōmokutō · The Crow (Karasu)

Notes

Headed "my Gochū-an too." The wall of the Gochū-an hermitage where he long lived has crumbled, and through the hole a vine comes creeping in. Before grieving the hermitage's ruin, he simply accepts the vigor of the grass as it is.
