in the spring wind the doors open — namu amida butsu

A poem at the Byōdō-in. When the hall's doors are opened in the spring wind, there is Amida Buddha. The six syllables of the nembutsu become the poem's close. Even the wind blowing in through the opened doors is calm before the Buddha.
